Institute of International Education Rocky Mountain Center
The Institute of International Education has transitioned responsibility for certain of its local programs to a new, stand-alone non-profit organization based in Denver that is completely focused on connecting the Denver community to the rest of the world. We appreciate the involvement of our friends and sponsors in Denver and the Rocky Mountain region. We are especially mindful now that our success in serving our community, our nation and our world with all of these fine programs has only been made possible with your participation. We hope that we can count on your continued involvement and support for this important work.
The new organization, the Denver World Affairs Council (WorldDenver), led by Karen de Bartolome, builds upon the Denver World Affairs Council speakers series and the Denver activities of the International Visitor Leadership Program previously conducted by the Institute of International Education in Denver. The Institute’s Rocky Mountain Center membership and outreach programs have been transferred to the new organization. We welcome your involvement in these regional activities.

The Institute of International Education continues to provide student services and program support for the Fulbright Students and the universities in the region that are involved with the Fulbright Program. Colleges and universities in the Rocky Mountain region that are members of the IIENetwork, which provides resources for international educators around the world, continue their membership status in this international network without any changes. We welcome your interest in IIE’s worldwide programs, services and publications. On IIE’s website, you will also find information about scholarships and programs for international study, including the Fulbright, Gilman and Boren Scholarships and Fellowships, the IIEPassport study abroad directory, and the FundingUSStudy and StudyAbroadFunding online directories of funding resources.
