Fulbright Grantees at Fulbright Enrichment Seminar

IIE Rocky Mountain student supervision staff administers grants to approximately 400 international Fulbright students in a 16-state region.  Most grantees are completing masters or PhD programs, but recently IIE Rocky Mountain undertook the administration of Fulbright grants for all undergraduate students from Africa.  In addition to visa administration and advising, IIE Rocky Mountain coordinates an enrichment seminar each year for first year Fulbright grantees. 


The Fulbright Program Overview
Since 1946, The Fulbright Program has supported educational exchanges that strengthen understanding and communications between the United States and over 155 nations.  Sponsored by the United States Department of State, the Fulbright Program is an effective, prestigious form of public diplomacy and demonstrates the commitment of the United States to peaceful cooperation among nations.  The program has enriched the lives of more than 279,500 men and women.

The foreign Fulbright program has brought some of the world's finest minds to U.S. campuses, and offers scores of future international leaders insight into U.S. society and values.

U.S. Student Program
U.S. citizens who have studied, conducted research, and taught overseas as Fulbright Fellows have provided an essential international perspective to U.S. higher education, business, and government and have made an invaluable contribution to the understanding of the United States overseas. The U.S. Student Program is available to U.S. citizens currently enrolled at a U.S. institution of higher learning or those who have graduated from a U.S. institution of higher learning.
